Halloween Attractions in the Bay Area

09/21/2022

Halloween is just around the corner and there are plenty of Bay Area haunted houses and other Halloween attractions that are sure to scare. From big productions to smaller, DIY versions, there is something for everyone to enjoy. But be warned: you should not go if you are easily startled. For maximum fright, try the bigger haunted houses.

If you're looking for a more family-friendly Halloween experience, the USS Hornet is hosting a free Halloween Jam on October 20 with pumpkin decorating, live music, face painting, crafts, and special Halloween characters. You can also check out the Great Pumpkin Fest at Great America, which will include appearances by Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. Another fun activity is CuriOdyssey's Pumpkin Days, a science exhibit and pumpkin carving contest at the museum.

Among the Bay area's haunted attractions are the Undead Underpass and the Blind Asylum. Both of these haunted houses are award-winning and will give you the creeps. You can also check out Grimm's Hollow, a family-friendly haunted maze that will leave you with a sense of dread and fear. For an additional reading on the above subject, click here now.

The San Francisco Mint is another haunted house worth checking out. This historic building is a perfect setting for a fright night and has a fascinating exhibition that explores the history of witchcraft and the occult. You'll also find a haunted maze, 4D effects, and even character interaction.

Oakland's Pumpkin Patch is another popular haunted house in the Bay area. There are two versions of the haunted house - a less scary one for children and one for the scariest-crazy adults. If you're planning to attend the scary version, be sure to check out the Terror Vault - a 45-minute tour of horror where your family can escape a zombie apocalypse!

The Gilroy Gardens Pumpkin Patch is another great option for a family Halloween celebration. Admission is required for the event, which runs from mid-September through the end of October. It has over 50 varieties of pumpkins for guests to choose from. In addition to the maze, you can also take part in trick-or-treating and wacky characters. Click at: https://winchestermysteryhouse.com/unhinged/ for more useful reference.

The Winchester Mystery House is another haunted attraction that is fun to visit during the fall. Guests can experience a spooky dinner at the haunted house and trick-or-treating in the gardens. A new horror experience called Unhinged will make the experience even more exciting.
